Postby bruyere » Fri Dec 25, 2009 1:00 am

Gonna do a little run around my home town while I wait for my nieces to arrive and be surprised by my presence (not presents) ;) !!

:)

Merry Christmas Maniacs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unexpected, heartfelt gifts are the best. We are so very, very blessed.

Glad you arrived safe and sound Heather.

Not sure if I'll get a run in today but a family bike ride is in the plans. Younger ds is desperate to try out the new bike the grandparents gave him.

Hoping that all of you enjoy a wonderful day. Merry, Merry Christmas.

Currently at work... have been alone in the house for hours (the kids all had places to go this christmas, which is a good thing).

I *might* attempt a run in the morning... it's too soon and may blow up in my face (rather, ankle) but it *is* Christmas and maybe the fates will favour me.

Just got home... the bus driver gave me free fare with a Merry Christmas. Arrived at my door and found a bag of home-made Christmas goodies hanging on my doorknob (including some goodies specifically for Sammy!). I love this town. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS MANIAC LAND! I hope everyone has a great day filled with warmth (of all kinds :D )

All is quiet in my house this year - just me and dh, and my mum will come over for dinner. Hoping to get a short run in later.

Happy Happy :D

Merry Christmas Maniacs.

Will run later today when my friend Jill gets off her shift at the hospital...so an early evening run is in the plans.

It's mild but damp here in Kingston...think I'll take C-Moss out for an off leash romp this afternoon.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Two years ago I found myself up early on Christmas morning to get my run in. At that time, I think I was up to 6:1 in the LTR. I figured I was hooked if I was running on Christmas morning!

This year I did my run on the 24th. Today I will run to and from my mom's, to and from the dinner table, and to and from the couch! Things are a tad different this year and I am home alone now waiting to dog sit for my niece who has a six month old pup not welcome at her one grandmother's. Me, my dogs, and my niece's dog will join up with my family (including my niece) late afternoon for an evening of feasting at my mom's (the other grandmother).

My dogs had a great time unwrapping their own presents early this morning and I might walk all four later! Otherwise it will be a quiet but, I think, enjoyable Christmas day!

Listening to DH snore. Seems no matter what, someone sleeps in to delay opening presents. When I was 6 years old, someone sleeping until 6:30 was torture. Now it's almost 11! I did open my new Kitchenaid Mixer (not really an xmas present but it arrived yesterday). Might use it to make scones. That should wake him up!! Not sure about a run today. The forecast tonight is so rotten that I really should run before the freezing rain makes tomorrow awful. We'll see...
