Morning workout was done

1.5 up
strides and drills
3x 200, 1:00 rest, 300, 1:30 rest
times were 36, 59, 34, 55, 37, 57
400 progression
1:31
2.3 down
I fell off pace in 2 of the 200's..
Really tired after this workout. I actually like doing workouts on the grass, but did this one on the track. It's easier to push yourself when you have others around.

Evening workout will be soon.

Gorgeous run in the sunshine done, and now turning off the laptop so I can enjoy the rest of the day.

Happy Friday!

I'm going to do a 5k when I arrive in Toronto tonight, en route to Ottawa for the Run for Reach on Sunday.

Tomorrow's my 40th birthday, and I figured that, if I have to have a mid-life crisis, I can either spend a lot of money on a sporty car, or do something crazy like start running. Guess which one won....??? So my 10k race on Sunday is my affirmation that I met my goal for my 40th birthday!

Went for a 10km run. Just remembered it's just over 5 weeks to NCM. Got to really start training.

I'm calling it a day and heading to bed for a nap. Quiz is done, but I'm exhausted! It's amazing how tiring not working actually is! Although Snowflake has had a very restful day sleeping on my lap all day, so I'm glad I could help her out there...

Plans have now been revised to hope for a walk when DH gets home from work.

23 miles done.

Everyone must be exhausted today because I'm still waiting for pictures (I just have one iphone one!), sizes, and confirmed names (I thought we had the names already but I guess not!). Rumour has it that boy was over 7lb and girl was 6.5, but I can't confirm that yet.

Excellent on the run, and the babies. :D

They invited torchbearers in the area to take part in the parade and I don't know when I'll have another chance to get that close to our olympic team so me and my torch are off to Montreal! The parade is live on CTV and RDS at 11:30AM

Awesome! I hope you had a ton of fun and rubbed shoulders with lots of Olympic athletes.

Today, like the four previous days, has been a rest day. I am rested and more than rested (bloated) and raring for a Saturday run!

Have a great weekend y'all.

I went for a short easy run after I got back from the hospital (niece in the early assessment unit again, all good now though). My lungs are NOT 100%. I had to take a few walk breaks and cut it short at 4k and walked the rest of the way home.

Congrats again aunt Holly! It'll be a long three weeks till you go to visit, I'll bet!!
I had a great interval workout tonight with Pat and his lovah (ha ha!). 5 x 1500m!
The ones going west were slower than the ones going east, and I'm not entirely sure why. There was a bit of wind, but it didn't seem too bad. I think maybe there was a bit more of a clear "home stretch" going east as we turned a corner and ran the last 300m up a different street, where it was a 1200m straight stretch to the end going west. I don't know. Anyway, splits were 5:54, 6:14, 5:59, 6:08, 6:00. Fun times!! Now off to bed soon... gotta get up stoopid early tomorrow for Dave's first trail race!! :D  8)

1h45m blading around the Canal, then watched our guys play a hard, physical game of soccer, followed by some Vitamin G. Oh, and there was fight in the game....idiot on their team shouldn't be playing. 'Nuff said.
