LSDW this morning ... that is long slow dog walk! Took the pups on an early morning 6K walk. Crossed through the conference center where a large group of nuns are currently staying. One of them said my bi blue had the ugliest face she had ever seen on a dog! Nasty Nun!

Left leg still sore from yesterday. Going to call for a massage tomorrow and see if I can get things going nice and smooth again soon!

Rest day for me today. Headed to the beach later on.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Fueling up for 32K LSD this morning. Running solo for most but happy to say I've managed to con my brother into joining me for the middle 10, should help to break things up.

Rest day here too.

We ran 20 miles yesterday on our 1 year anniversary! And it went awesome!! 12:35 pace which is great for us and I got to swim in Lake Champlain at the end =) Foot was A-ok after this week's rest so that was a wise choice to do that this week.

Back to Montreal this afternoon. Have a good one.

is it just me or is the tracking site kinda lousy? I can only look up one person at a time, and can't refresh the results (have to submit the search again each time). Or is there a better spot that I'm missing?

6km in Parc de la Gatineau. It was great to be back in the woods again although my heart really wasn't in it and with company here, I cut my originally planned 20km route short.

Have a great day everyone!

Went out the door at 8:30 this morn' for my LSD but I think I underestimated the heat.....after 20km I ducked back to the house to hose myself off...then 7 more added on....27km in total.....should have worn a hat for the first 20k!

Nice 16 km this morning - was supposed to be 15 km but sometimes these things happen. The pace was great until the last couple of km when I had to fight through some GI issues; got through it without having to make a pit stop, and picked it up again near the end. It was warm out there but not nearly as humid as it's been so enjoyed that very much!

So the post-Midsummer cutback week is over and now it's back to serious training for Hamilton on November 7.

Hope all the racers are having a good day!

Beautiful morning for a 30K LSD in Edmonton as part of a 7-runner horde that comprised about half of the top marathon runners in the region.
