Drinking coffee then taking C-Moss out for an offleash walk.
Then heading to Run For A Cure.
Running with a group of friends, including Noreen (she was my long run partner for all my Boston training runs)who got diagnosed with breast cancer recently and will be starting treatment soon. I imagine this will be an emotional morning.

Trying to stay positive after my very disappointingly painful walk yesterday afternoon. :(

Going to check out the bootcamp class at the Y in half an hour....if I don't have to modify it to oblivion, I'll do half an hour on the elliptical after. If I get no workout at all taking out all the impact-y stuff, I'll do an hour on the elliptical.

Visiting friend and her new baby in the afternoon.

Hope everyone going out for Run for the Cure has fun this afternoon! Looks like the weather will be gorgeous. I wish I could join you!

Last night I went for dinner and wandered around some of the Nuit Blanche art installations downtown. It wasn't horribly late when I got home, and the party went 'til sunrise, so I channelled my inner mcshame, set the alarm crazy early and ran back downtown for the last hour and a half. That was pretty cool.

Anyway, it's 9am, my 30km long run is done, breakfast has been consumed and I think a nap may be in order. :)

That sounds both amazing and crazy! Enjoy the nap, you deserve it.

"Pack walk" with the whole family early this morning on the local rail trail. It was freezing and poor G started to get really miserable with his hands freezing off, so it was only 30ish minutes, but still a great way to start the day. :D

Hope you are having a great run with your friend Jo-jo.

4 miles is on the schedule for us. We're trying to squeeze in the run we skipped last week!

yay for brunch with maniacs!

I will run later today... might need a nap first though. Sammy was up ALL night and wouldn't sleep because there was another dog in the house... which means I didn't get much sleep either. :(

Great 19km run this morning - a bit frosty this morning but still a great morning for a run. Now off to take dd to horseback riding.

Heading out soon to take care of my little nephew. I think i will load him into his chariot and go for a run. Maybe 8k or so....then take him for a timbit (or two).

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Ran my first 10k race this morning. Time was 48:49, which was better than I was expecting, even better than I hoped for. I even got a bronze medal in my age category (... actually finished 6th, but the top three overall were in the male 30-34 group :D )
