Coldest day so far this winter here in Hfx. Rest day is on the sched for me, but I will probably sneak in a half-hour row tonight in the comfort of my basement.

It was -28C plus whatever windchill here this morning, so I splurged and drove in to the office today and chose to pay the $$$ parking indoors in favour of freezing outside waiting for the bus  :? :shifty:

Hit the Club at 6am, sure is pretty quiet at 6am in the morning ... :shifty:  for a resistance workout ... 8)

Rest day from Running, just 45min elliptical + Strength at lunch. Thank You Coach.

Puppy was none too thrilled with the morning walk, he really needed booties, but no way that is happening, he has a hard enough time wearing his coat. :o3

New cold weather record for me- 7.5K at -27, -36 with windchill. Actually not too bad- I was dressed just right. Only difficult part was my eyelashes icing up, and trying to keep my eyes from freezing shut.

On days like this I tell myself "On race day, the course doesn't accept excuses like "it was too cold to train.""
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Same, I got long eyelashes so it gets quite ridiculous, need to thaw them out frequently with my fingers.

Rest day, thank goodness! I really hope the cold snap is done by tomorrow as forecasted, I've had enough of this Winterpeg weather!

A little bit of yoga this morning, and nothing else. Apparently I was either low in potassium or hydration yesterday, as my legs felt crampy in bed all night long.

10K outside - minus 30 I think - after a full week of recovery, I exchanged my rest day for my Friday 10K (I will need more rest at the end of this week)
This is going to be 6-days-of-running week and I just put the first 10K in the bank 8)
I love running outside when it is super cold - there was a beautiful moon shining as I left my house and than I got to see the sun rise and the crystal clear blue sky...wow...

I hibernated all weekend so I must do something today. I brought my stuff for an outdoor run but forgot socks so I might stop at MEC to pick up a pair and run in Westboro. Or, I may go home and run on the TM... but I hate TMs.

Couldn't run outside today even if I wanted to ... Rest day for me.
Stay warm everyone! This cold weather is triggering my asthma like crazy

Skipped on the ski before work. Too cold... Just ran to work (20min) and will run back. Looks like it might be back to 'normal' tomorrow morning so will get back to my skiing tomorrow morning.
