Just no juice in my legs at all. I was supposed to run in upper zone levels and couldn't get out of LSD pace. It's getting really discouraging that I can't improve my pace at all. Felt lousy all around. :|

:( That's too bad. Is it the heat, do you think? Or maybe just the cumulative effect from all the mileage? That's one of the downsides of running more... it can be harder to get to that hard pace. Perhaps running with someone else who is a bit faster than you a few times would help shake you out of it- that's worked for me before. I don't think I can run fast, and then I end up somehow being able to do it to keep up with someone else.

Yea I'm missing Andy.
maybe it's heat, maybe it's the big jump in mileage. Not sure but hopefully it'll break soon.

Thanks Spirit, I hope so.

I'm finally home, much later than anticipated. Too late for a run in this area, so going to hit the play button on some P90X or Insanity now...

An easy 9 km in 45 minutes for me tonight. I don't work tomorrow so I should be able to get a run in tomorrow morning before it gets too hot,

6K while the girl had her swimming lesson this evening. Second run in the orthotics was much better than the first, no bizarro shin pain! Now to figure out how to get some running in on the family camping weekend :)

No one cares what I would do; therefore, I can do anything!!

I ran 42.2k; Let's see the other donald try to trump that

Good strong speed workout tonight- 8 x 400m. I felt better during the last 4 than I did for the first 4... maybe I need more of a warmup? It was a gorgeous night to run, that's for sure. 8)

Severe thunderstorm watches, downpours throughout the day had me on the TM tonight, but at the mile mark the rain stopped and the sun came out, so headed outside for another 10k. Hot and humid with a mosquito fest thrown in.

Enjoyed a glorious rest day!

My abs still hurt from Tuesday's class.
