Tempo Tuesday is scheduled in Kanata tonight. It's supposed to warm up by then......hopefully!!! I have two sets of clothes packed for tonight's run - the warmer stuff and the colder stuff. Oh spring, where are you?!

Alert recall this morning - so basically I got a call at 0508 telling me to call all of my "people" and make my way to work. It's basically a practice to see how long it would take us to come in in case of an emergency.

I am very sleepy, but mostly because I had a migraine yesterday and therefore had lots of trouble sleeping. At about 1 or 2, I took two Gravol to knock me out, figuring I had until about 0700 to sleep it off - apparently not. :!:

Supposed to run and work out today, hoping to feel like it by lunch :)

brrrr! It is a chilly morning! Hopefully this will be the last face numbing morning run till next winter! Having just finished six long days with our local music festival (and no running) my plan was a short easy run to get back at it. This plan was foiled by two big brown eyes at the front door looking beseechingly at me. Any other dog would be fine but my Caleb is not a runner! This was the first time he has 'asked' to go on my morning run since getting sick so I gave and took him. Anyone watching me run must have wondered what I was doing. I did run it's just that I can walk faster then I was running  Oh well ... it definitely met the guidelines of short and easy! About 1.5K in ... well I won't tell you how long! Plan to go out again later today when it warms up a bit and do another easy run but for this morning ... nothing beats a happy dog, head up, ears bouncing with every step, and tail wagging to keep time!

It's supposed to warm up, but get very windy later. I have 6K easy on my schedule today. Not sure when/where I will get that done, but likely right after work.

Yes cold, but absolutely beautiful morning. Dry roads, sun shining, no wind, people are smiling and saying good morning. Still on the sickness rebound, but feel like some strength is coming back. Pup and I did 11km in 55:30, he is set for the day now crashed in the sunshine in the living room.

Morning!

14K with 8K @ tempo pace. Think it's time to review McMillan based on my Chilly time to see if I should be doing these a bit faster?

Done on the TM because I'm a wimp today - no actually it was mostly because DH was heading to the gym, and I joined him.

9.5km done outside this morning. A brisk -10 but still nice for running. I think this was the coldest day I've ran outside this winter.

Easy 15K through new snow, finished with a trip to the mechanic (who did a housecall to replace a car battery). Good start to the day.

flight was delayed last night - got into a holding pattern for about 30 min at around 20,000 feet before we could land to wait for runway to be cleared off. Since i then walked into the house at 11pm last night and with the roads not being pleasant, nixed swim squad this morning in favor of sleep. Will swim this evening and then get in a little shake out run on the treadmill. Legs are feeling a bit sore today.

Yup, it is cold out.

Workout done and I am not going outside again until Thursday - unless the wind dies down considerably.
