Wow , they are worried in Boston

Had a magical day in Paris yesterday

It was fun running a full Marathon with 40,000 other folks. My wife and I are doing some site seeing today but my secret mission is to find a sports bar showing the Boston Marathon. Good luck everyone!

Congrats on a "magical" day in Paris yesterday! It sounds like a wonderful race.

I will be watching Boston today and tracking some friends  I sure hope everyone just enjoys the run and doesn't try to go for broke in this type of heat. Good luck to all in Boston today and stay cool and hydrated!

Happy Boston day! Big day for me as well - first day back at work!

Got up early to go out for a pump-me-up run - 8km with 5 km at tempo. Very humid here!

Scheduled rest day for me today, and I will be taking advantage of it .... :shifty: Have this nagging blister on the bottom of my left forefoot area, just before the digits, which makes it feel weird when I am walking, similar to that of a tiny stone, stuck in your shoe ... :? I did manage to get in my chair therapy workout this morning at the Club, however ...

All the Best and God Speed to those running and racing in Boston today .... Hope you remember to lather on the sunscreen ... 8)

Good luck, Scrummy! Godspeed, Boston Runners!

I have a short (4K) run planned for after work. Likely it will be warm, windy and wet by the time I get home.

Warm, damp, foggy 10K for me this morning.

Good luck to all those in Boston!

Easy 4.5K run this morning. Figured I'd better get going this morning and beat the predicted 29C high for later today  Temp was still 14C and humid this morning. Humidity sure makes a difference! Almost got picked off by a driver making a right turn. Fortunately I was every corner and read this one right. Had a feeling and sure enough they slowed down but cruised through the stop sign, glanced left for traffic, puffed their cigarette, and made the right turn cutting me off without even glancing at me. I don't think the driver even saw me when she turned! Even with me veering to the side she only missed me by several inches! Glad she missed!

just back from a warm 10k run here in Boston - was a bit frustrating because i didn't really have a route...and i kept hitting dead ends (i was running a good amount along the harbour and what appeared to be a pathway really wasn't - or just kept ending! anyway - it's warm and going to be warm. have you heard? it's warm in Boston. lol!

The DH had a good sleep last night though and was really to rip it up today when he left just before 6am. his wave goes off in 2 minutes!

Good luck Scrummy and to the racers today.

I'll do my long run today as a make up for missing it yesterday - we had friends over for supper Saturday night and [too] much wine was consumed. The run this morning is planned for something around 2hr.

This morning I have packed up my bike for my move to Finland - I'm flying tonight. Later this afternoon I'll pack up everything else. A partial relocation requires a bit more thought in packing than a one or two week trip; i.e. I won't leave the packing to literally the 20minutes before leaving to the airport! One more positive - my upgrade request was granted so I'll be in front on the plane tonight, which gives me a much better chance of getting some sleep :)

Still feeling under the weather, so after some debate, decided on another rest day. At this point, as far as being prepared for the Yonge Street 10k on Sunday, getting rid of this cold will help me more than a few more runs will!
