If there's no thread when I get to work, I don't bother starting one as the risk of two people starting them is too high. Instead I wait.

Legs feel ok after last night's longer tempo run. I cycled to work, will cycle home. Then it is the start of hill repeats with my clinic group. I'll likely add on a little at the end of that run to get in 6-7k.

Foot is much better today, not sure what that was about..... I'll do a short run at lunchtime since it is going to rain this PM.

Have a good day everyone!

Ha my foot was much better today too! Out for 5K this morning to avoid the predicted rain later today. Garmin didn't pick up satellites and didn't tell me it was not tracking  Fortunately I looked at it a few minutes in to check pace and noted the error. Other then that I had a great run this morning. Best pace in a long time! Even at 1C the bright sun and lack of wind made for a warm and lovely run!

Have a great day everyone!

Weekly speed workout w/K2J Fitness on the schedule for today, but still not receiving the weekly emails w/the workout ... :? :help: Suppose to be raining later this afternoon/evening, so may just stick it on the hamstermill at the Club, considering that I will most likely be doing a reduced workout anyways, as I am tapering for Vancouver in about 10 days time .... :shifty:

Morning!

Well I bit the bullet and registered for the SL10K. I am completely unprepared for racing a 10K so we'll see how it goes.

So just to get a feel for my fitness, I actually did a tempo run on the treadmill this morning! It was awesome! 10K in total, with 3.1 miles @ tempo - 2 of those miles were @ 7.8 mph - the rest @ 7.7. I ran out the to the end! 6.6 mph. Wow, I suprised myself. It felt good, and I definitely could have continued @ the 7.8mph pace.

I think with all the easy running in the past weeks my legs were ready for some speed!

Early morning for Pup and I. Up at 4:00, out the door at 4:30. Solid effort workout. 15min warmup, 30min@4:35/km, 3min recovery, 30min@4:25/km,12min cooldown. 19.35km in 1:30, felt great. Thinking I should give up this crazy idea of running SS100 and just run a Fast Marathon. Pup is ready too. ;)

This is a bit of an iffy day for running, I want to but work is stupid busy. If I don't get too many more last minute clients (and if I get off here and go to work right now) I might be able to swing it.

Really enjoyable 16k this morning. Perfect weather for capris and long sleeves, got to listen to tons of birds singing the whole time, and ran on some of my favourite routes. It was one of those runs where I just felt light on my feet and time seemed to fly by.

Getting ready to head to the field tomorrow, WPS Half is next weekend and I am not ready for it, but I'll get through it. On the brighter side, I feel more ready for my course (which is the more important thing at this point) so YAY!

Rest day today, at least so far. Had planned a stretch/strength workout at the gym for this morning, but DH and I were out late last night and I really didn't feel like getting up early. Belly dance class tonight, but not until 7:30, so I will try to leave the office early enough to get to the gym first. If not, no biggie.

Today was a 7km easy effort on the threadmill. I really need to start doing more workouts outside, but the gym at work is so darn convenient to go to.

Have a good one.

got in an hour on the computrainer last night riding the IM World Championship course - good solid workout and I'm loving the adjustment made from my bike fit on Monday.

Swim squad this morning - good workout there too.

moving tonight's ride to tomorrow morning, unless I get home at a decent hour from a focus group meeting at our local Tri store.

Fantastic! I'm still thinking of doing it, too.

Did 10k with the NOTL RoadRunners last night. Today was going to be a ride, but with the rain this aft, it will likely end up a run after work. Then this weekend -- kayaking and riding!

Schedule calls for 6 X 1200, and 6 X 400 -- since I have changed my "A" race, I was thinking that I might do a different kind of run, and now seeing the thread title, perhaps it's a SIGN!!! :D

Yet another rest day today though I have a massage therapy session booked for this evening. All being well, I'll try another run tomorrow. Am also booked for the SL10k but suspect it will be more of an easy run than a flat out effort. Pity, as I understand it is a pretty fast downhill course and I would really like to do a half decent (at least for me) 10k time.

ran it in 26 minutes though, and am now sitting in a pool of sweat -- love the warmer weather, but it sure makes for soggier runs! lol
