I'm still having trouble sleeping through the night with the jetlag, but I'm up now and ready to run. :) Maybe I'll need a nap later.

Plan is to do 20k with Rob. Bring it on. :)

Just 5 with the stroller for me today. Would have liked to go further, since we have more time on the weekend morning, but my legs were a bit heavy from yesterday.

Still no running for me. My mojo is MIA. Which is a nice segue to saying I've got a bib for the Army Half for sale. No bites in the Classifieds so thought I would mention it here. PM me if you, or someone you know, is looking for a bib! Asking $65.

So tired now... I think I'll need a nap.

Came close to DNSing a 5k - I've got a nasty cold, and was feeling like cr@p. but I went, mostly because I was doing it with my mother. Churned out a very lacklustre 24:32 5k, but I wasn't the only one feeling sluggish today since that was enough for 5th overall and 3rd in my AG. I'll be wheezing for the rest of the day, but I'm glad I went.

Two women that I met when I would occasionally tag along with the beginners run clinic are doing their first duathlon this coming weekend at Guelph Lake. We rode the 30K course last weekend and they wanted to head out and ride it again this weekend. So that's what we did. Nice morning for it, sunny, no humidity, little bit of a head breeze on the way back.

Driving out of Guelph Lake there were three (handsome) police officers stopping cars. They asked us if we had been drinking. It was TEN IN THE MORNING! I assume they were teaching new officers the rules/procedure for stopping vehicles roadside because I can't think of any other reason to be stopping cars that early in the morning......
The rumours are true......

Managed to drag myself out for 9ish k today. It went surprisingly well probably because the route was mostly downhill. Legs were tired but not too bad after long run yesterday but they weren't loving up hills.

27k for me- about 12 of it on road, the rest on trails. Worst run I've had in a long time- think I was under-fueled and legs were zapped from pushing Fri evening's workout too fast. Oh well............... it's over now, and Cacia is on her way home with pizza!
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Bookended the weekend with a 15 km long run this evening after a 32 km long run Saturday morning. I thought it was going to be hot, but the shaded trails were perfect.
