Good luck racers!

Enjoy your core work, Lisa!

Rattled our bones this morning - my 6th time participating in this race over the past 8 years, and it really is my local favourite. Today, C ran the 1 km - she had to stop for two water breaks. Very important to stay hydrated! I ran the 5 km for fun - a lovely fall day (minus a few sprinkles).

6 miles this morning.

I'm stuck on deciding whether to keep the beginner trail group going through the winter. Several people have said they would love to continue. However, I'm trying to reduce the number of commitments in my life and focus on getting my own stuff sorted out, so I'm not sure. :/

Can one of them take over?

5k done. Didn't quite miss the rain, it got us on the last km. But we did manage to finish just before the train came through. We crossed the tracks to head back home about a minute before the train.

Congrats to all the Mania racers today, Including Scrummy's little one!

Got my runniversary run done today--9.5k of wind, rain and a few grains of snow. I tried to think of how impressed I would have been four years ago with how I ran today. :D

Not really, no. There aren't really any solid regulars (we get new people every week), and they don't know the trails well, which is why they need me.

Easy paced 9k, mostly on trails this afternoon. Kept it nice and slow to loosen up the legs after yesterday's race.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

I supervised three kids in Niagara Falls this morning while my wife finished her first half marathon! I'm planning to go out for a slow 10 km after the kids are in bed.

14k in the snow & slush  . I was wearing shorts yesterday! Managed to stub my toe this morning, and it was a bit sore & bruised by the end of my run. Looks like I'll be resting & taping it this week.

Woohoo!! I did a teeny tiny core workout. It wasn't too bad all things considered!! 3 x 30 second planks, 3 x 20 second side planks each side, 3 x 5 double leg lifts and 3 x 5 pelvic lifts. And 15 push-ups!! It's way less than I used to he able to do, but not a terrible starting point. I would rather under-do it than overdo it right now for sure. I'll still probably be sore tomorrow!!

Stepped on the the race course at Rattle Me Bones this morning after almost no running in 2013. Started running again two months ago...but only once a week
Loved the 5km course and even though my time was approx. 3.5 minutes off my PB it was good enough for 3/11 in my AG (chip time)
Hmmm...I think I'm inspired enough to actually start training again.

11km with a lot of hills today. Took my daughter and nephew to Wonderland for the day... man was it cold.
