Labour Day Monday
Labour Day Monday
No running today, hopefully the rain will hold off so i can finish my landscaping project.
Re: Labour Day Monday
No running today for me. Plan is to get out for about an hour of mountain biking. It's been a while - the trails are calling my name!

Ditto, only I did 4.3k. Really a sweat fest!
Then I came home and made a big batch of spaghetti sauce to freeze. It's a hot undertaking when the humidex is over 30, but the tomatoes are ripe and wait for no woman!

I went for an hour swim today-- 2100m in the pool. That's the longest I've gone in an hour, so I'm still improving.

Re: Labour Day Monday
For the first time this year, a real summer sweaty running day. And it's September. I went out for 11.6 km heading to the east (to avoid the crowds towards the Ex and Harbourfront). Man, after a while it started to get punishing. I was glad of the fountains at Sherbourne Common on the way back! When I got back home, I was so soaked from sweat (I only splashed myself a little at the fountains) that it was like I had been standing in a shower.
So now we've had that. We can move on to the nice fall temperatures… at those times when I'm running. I'm hoping the weather will be decent for the Longboat island run next Sunday. Will any of y'all be there?

Re: Labour Day Monday
9km hike today (just under four hours including stops), for the three peaks of Seymour. Nice hike but no view today as it was too cloudy/foggy.
