No snow here yet but the forecast says to expect some later today!

I'm going to head out for some distance (this cold is much worse than it was last week and I'm not sure how breathing is going to work out). Hoping for 14 to 15 but realistically I will be happy to get in 10K.

Snow here too, but I got my run in at York university indoor track! Very nice event, and it was great to see Robin and DBB! I did 30k in 3:08:21. Certainly not race pace, but that was literally impossible in this environment. I think I was lulled a bit by the slower pace of the 6 and 8 hour runners. I felt terrific though, and my pace was steady throughout, so I'm pleased with the jumpstart to my marathon training.

Robin was still going when I left!

A slow and careful 12k done, no snow but lots of patches of black ice/frosty sidewalk requiring some careful running.

This marks the start of the 2015 training season :)

Impressive running, shovelling and winter-braving today maniacs!

I did just over 16 km with two speedy friends this morning in frigid temps. The snow is really coming down out there now, so very glad we got it in this morning. Loved seeing the other hearty runners along the canal.

Resting today. Mostly treating my injured foot, watching some movies on TV, and practising my guitar lessons.
