Friday - where's spring??

Postby La » Fri Mar 20, 2015 7:21 am

Not until 6:45PM ET. I'll be on a train to Ottawa at that time. :)

50-min spin class done before work. Now I'll be red-faced all morning. :?

can't wait for the warmer weather, but 4C and sunny last night was actually a perfect running temp for me. Nice easy 10k. Was going to go longer, but my calf (injury) started to scream a little so I cut it a little short.

3000m swim for me tonight.

Badge of honour. ;)

As for me, well at least that didn't suck.

30 minute at 6mph (6:13/km) for 3 miles. Kept the incline at 0% to help ensure success. Still, I was happy when it was over. I sped up a bit from 17:00 to 25:00 (6.2mph or 6:00/km).

Then I setup my rings and did my rings workout. Minus the dips, since tomorrows Open Workout will rely on my triceps for the handstand push ups, I didn't want to risk it. And I only did one set of L-sits, just because I was running out of time.

Went way better than last time. Perhaps I was more rested.

Both the reverse row sit backs and the pull ups were solid. And I made all three sets of 3 on the pull ups this time.

Progress.

15 km along the canal. hadn't planned on going so long, but ran into a friend and ran along with her, then my watch died so i lost track of how far i'd gone! hope i won't regret this during tomorrow morning's long run!
