Tardy Thursday
Tardy Thursday
Another beautiful morning here in Toronto. I Was planning to run 10 km but woke up late so did a quick workout of 4 x 800m at 5k race pace with a 3 min warm up and 3 min cool down.

It's been a great running week here in TO. Easy 8.5 to let the legs get ready for Sunday's half.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight...it's the size of the fight in the dog! 11K Marker post - 2010 ATB.

I went to a babywearing barre fitness class this morning for the first time. It was interesting, but don't really think it was for us! Part of the class was on the mat and F is way too mobile for that! Went to my regular bootcamp class this afternoon, so I'm sure I'll be feeling those muscles tomorrow.

First time running twice in the same week since the calf issue started over a month ago.
First time running more than 5km since... well... in months! Ran to the canal Ritz, which is 3.4km from the Y, for a total of 6.8km in 41:35. No calf issues, rolled them before heading out.
For a warm sunny day with little wind, I'm happy with that.
Made it to the half-way point in 20:29, so lost 36 seconds on the way back.
Average pace was 6:07/km. Felt so slow. I'm gonna need patience.

More walking for me today, but this time an actual trip to the seawall for a walk. The fresh air feels really good. It's not as nice out there as the forecast said, but it's supposed to get much hotter on the weekend.

Re: Tardy Thursday
runpub tonight will be walkpub because we have two injured among us. So I went for a run on my own this afternoon, 5 miles. Not sure how far we'll walk tonight, probably just a leisurely stroll around lynn canyon. :)
