Wimped-out Wednesday
Wimped-out Wednesday
I overslept and missed my swim session this morning. Will make it up on Friday. It's going to be warm here today, so I will run outside after work.

Having a reunion tonight with some Ottawa TNT alumni for a run then beer.
Re: Wimped-out Wednesday
8km/5mi this am / recovery run that was prob too fast in 40min + some weights
Some treadmill/public workout rants:
A woman on a tm near me was very distracting and not for the first reason you might think - she kept a cycle of walk, run, 5 second sprint, walk at the very back of the tm, and so on. This wasn't someone who looked like it was their first time and they kept repeating this process - I was worried they'd fall off the back end - aka distracting.
I like my fellow runners to do just that - pick a speed they can handle and run. Sometimes you get backward walkers or sideways runners/prancing/I don't know.
One guy who likes to run beside me wears a lot of cologne or something before he runs - I tend to choke on the air.
I know I should just start heading outside but its tough at 6am/7am by yourself, esp in the winter.
Meanwhile, I'm feeling fit

Re: Wimped-out Wednesday
I wanted/planned to run today but ankle is a bit touchy so I will save it for runpub tomorrow instead. Lots of waking with the dog and errands tho.

2 miles on TM for me.
Re: Wimped-out Wednesday
Ended up having a great 8k run with two old running buddies. Discovered that part of the canal was blocked off (when we got to a fence), so our run included some unexpected climbing over mountains of wood, shimmying through a fence and some other adventures.
