5k on the seawall. Need to work on frequency and consistency so I wanted something short and easy just to get out there.

Got in a good 8k tempo (12k total) at lunch. Tempo was sub 4:40 so at least I'm at my former GMP. Time to try and get some speed back.

Same for me today! I, too, am trying to build back some speed :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

8k and strength workout on my break at work today. I hired a trainer today! Hoping to learn a lot!

2 loops around the block (1.5 miles) with my daughter as she's prepping for Track & Field and her upcoming triathlon :)
