I was going through my gel packs. Some of my GU's expired last November and December. Would you take a chance with them. Personally I want to chuck them. But, what do you think?

They probably won't make you sick but they may be thick and gross.

Re: Expired Gels?
I'd probably eat them, myself. Expiry dates are generally just suggestions.

I don't worry a whole bunch about expiry dates, but I have eaten old gels/sharks/granola bars and the texture/flavour can be quite disgusting.

Our company did a thing at the Food Bank. They differentiate between "Best Before" and a true Expiry Date.
They will use and distribute non-perishable food as long as it is within 2 years of the "Best Before" date.
Some things (like baby food) have an expiry date - not negotiable, they have to throw it out.
I also learned that they get a LOT of non-alcoholic beer, and they throw it all out.
