Hi I am new here!
Hello everyone!
I am the latest newbie! I have been running about 3 years and yes, I too and addicted. I admit it. I am so glad there is a place for all of us to share our addiction honestly and openly!
Your fellow running addict,
Shirley

Welcome, Shirley!
This really is a great place (although I still post over in RR as jwolf).
I was just in penticton a couple weeks ago... we were driving through during Ironman, (but only watched a bit of the cycling), and then were back in the city on Monday. The place was still "buzzing" from the IM... it was pretty cool. It's a beautiful city on its own, too. Next year I want to volunteer for IM, or at least watch a good part of the race.

Hi everyone and thanks for all the messages! I feel so welcome!
The saturn girl comes from owning a Saturn car. I love to brag about how Saturn in Calgary and Kelowna has treated me. Trust me, a single girl buying a car is not easy to do. Saturn treated me like royalty and I hope to never own a different make if car, ever. It made a good username as well.

Now to figure out how to get a photo on my avatar! Don't worry it won't be of my car

My Mom and I have volunteered at the finish line at IM for the past 4 years. It is awesome! We wouldn't miss it for anything. My mom drives up from Langley so I would say she is addicted to it as well.

Yeah I did that last year too.... Fortunately I knew exactly what I wanted before I walked in, so that made it easier for me. The sales guy was great and all the staff EXCEPT the finance guy. He wasn't great. But aside from him I've been pretty happy (Toyota).
