Holly, you are a woman after my own heart.

Beautiful, smart, down to earth, a runner, and most importantly you know your website development stuff.

The perfect woman.

:D

The new organization makes the NRR forum fit perfectly.

Can I be honest?

I thought the old open forum was good. I agreed that some of the goofier threads that got up to 25 pages were maybe not necessary, but creating a whole NRR forum seems extraneous, and there's a bunch of stuff in there that belongs in other places.

I know that as we grow we need to be 'image-conscious' about how first-time visitors perceive the site, but I thought this could be accomplished by just avoiding the sillier threads, not slicing and dicing to creates little packets for everything.

I don't wanna sound rude, but I think the old format was better, if we could just trim some of the out-of-control threads.

EDITTED TO ADD: Sorry, I know it's impossible to please everybody, and I'll still support whatever the final format decision is...

no worries, dave, I'm still not happy with the new way either. Like I said, I just want to try it out. But this format creates new problems, so we'll just keep experimenting until we hit on something that works. I'll keep pondering it...
