A couple days ago I saw 172 on the scale but it didn't last. Now I'm 173. I've been pretty good overall as far as points and choices go but I find that I am genuinely hungry and that 22 points per day isn't doing it for me. I wonder if it's the cold that does that.

187.2lbs at WW weigh-in on Saturday. I am ok with that. Except for today, I have been good with my points this week so far. m

remember - you have 35 weekly points that you can use, and if you're exercising (which I think you are!), you are earning extra points that way which you can use. If you're genuinely hungry, your body is telling you something.

Start weight - 186.5
10% Goal - 167.5
Ultimate Goal - 145

07 Jan 09 - 186.5
14 Jan 09 - 184.6
21 Jan 09 - 180.8
28 Jan 09 - 182.7

Needless to say, not a great week. I've been moody and grumpy...and one thing I've noticed, I eat rebelliously when I am angry. I tend to want greasy fried foods...and that was my downfall this week.

So my goal for this coming week is to not dip into my Flex points until Friday...and then when I do dip into them I have to budget them to last over the weekend. That...and I have to finally get in the habit of drinking 2L of water each day!

Bit of a rebound. Still slow but still in the healthy loss range...

7 Jan:194.1
14 Jan: 192.3
21 Jan: 192.0
28 Jan: 190.6

-3.5

Committing to Running and Swimming has helped. This Sunday will be a test with a work Superbowl party.

187.8lbs this morning. Three days from official WW weigh-in, but I suspect this is going to be a good week. I've been really good for points this week, and I've been make a huge effort to drink lots of water to help with metabolism.

I was afraid at first to use the 35 extra points but I have been lately. I also count my activity points and eat most of them. I think I need to really pay attention to the quality of food I've been eating so I get the biggest bang for my points. I did not lose any weight this week for the first time since I started WW in November. I was genuinely hungry earlier this week but I'm wondering now if I'm just cold, bored, or maybe on a discouraging plateau.

I now hit 145 more than half of the time. So I can safely say 145.
Touching 144 is next!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

I totally agree that quality is so important. Since I have been doing WW's I bring more food to work then I did in the past but it is high volumes of low points foods. My only problem seems to be saving a little something extra for the mid-afternoon slump. Today I have an apple staring at me....hopefully that will do the trick.

Weigh in last night after a cruddy week for eating...eating...non stop eating....

144.4 - stayed the same.

OK...it could have been way uglier.

Oct 2006 - 176 lbs (highest weight ever)

9 Jan 2009 - 149 lbs
21 Jan 2009 - 148 lbs
30 Jan 2009 - 145 lbs

Whatever my coach has me doing (I just follow the schedule, and curse him occasionally), appears to be working.

This is the lowest weight I have been at in over three years (pre knee injury) :D.

190.2lbs this morning, but I am sick with something like the flu and horribly dehydrated, so I don't think it's indicative of anything. It's also 9am and I haven't eaten today and don't really plan on eating much right now.

Ok, i was going to put it off a bit longer, but I won't.

Back on the bandwagon to try to lose baby weight. The numbers:

Pre-baby- 140 lbs, a happy weight for me :D
2 weeks post baby- 158, I am actually pleasantly surprised by being under 160.

First goal- under 150.

You really don't have a lot to lose at all! 2 weeks post partum with 18lbs to go is nothing. You'll have it dropped off quickly (especially if you get the night sweats - I could drop 2-3lbs overnight with those crazy things). :D

I was pleasantly surprised to drop this much already. The worst part was that since i was induced, i actually GAINED weight post baby with water retention until mid-week last week. I then lost it all in 3 days!

188.6lbs at WW yesterday. Ate a LOT so far today, but also did a very intense 2hr workout burning 1,600 calories, so it all balances out.

Mental note: change scale batteries...

Not that that is my problem...it won't solve the creeping back up issue.

I have not bothered to count points most of this week. I've noticed that once I've used my Flex points up I give up everything...

I'm going to weigh-in again on Friday and start my week then. I will now weigh-in every Friday instead of Wednesday...this will give me my Flex for the weekend...and I can be good through the week...as long as I'm mentally engaged in this.

Not a bad week considering Super Bowl Sunday debauchery.

7 Jan: 194.1
14 Jan: 192.3
21 Jan: 192.0
28 Jan: 190.6
4 Feb: 189.8

One thing about swimming. Everytime I swim regularly, I lose weight without knowing where and how it is going. Otherwise, I struggle to stay where I am... Go figure??

Go figure! Swimming really works!

Only 5 pounds to go! he he ! :D
