Yippee!

Postby luvmybabies » Mon Oct 02, 2006 10:00 am

I finally managed to squeeze in a walk just for myself on Sunday, no strollers, no babies, just me and my IPOD and my treadmill for about 30 minutes at quite a good pace. Wow, it sure does feel good! Helps to work out the creaks and kinks  How are you doing KatyB? Are there any other walkers out there today?

It is nice to have time to yourself, isn't it?
Mom's sometimes don't get near enough of it.
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

Hi there - So glad you got some *me* time. I remember when the girls were little it was all I could do to get a bath in without someone crying and banging on the door..."Mummy!!"

Knee is slowllllyyy getting better, last week in Ottawa with Lynne it was up and down stairs ALOT! but it was not too bad. Physio tomorrow and maybe I can dump the brace and use the cane when outside -

I so miss my walking outside - the days are gorgeous now with the colours.

Take care - Happy Walking!
Karen
