Ultra crewing this June

Postby dwayne_runs_far » Thu Jan 28, 2010 8:42 pm

Well the plans are already being made to take a second run at the Kettle 100 mile run ( http://www.kettle100.com ). 2008 was a fantastic road trip, and like two years ago ( viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26728 ), I'm looking for a second crew member to join Natalie & I for a few days fun on the road and in the woods.

Let me know if you're interested and we can discuss further. The plan at this point is to hit the road on Thursday June 3rd, returning the Monday the 7th.

Dwayne
I run distance because I want to be in good shape when I die.

So am I supposed to fly to the "peg" and then drive down with you or am I to fly to the race site? :D

ETA that you know I'm a good crew to take - medical knowledge plus enough  and kindness to make it all right..... Just in case there is competition for this position!

Sounds like a blast. Unfortunately, I'm going to have a 3-month-old at that point. I seriously doubt Christine will let me run off and play. If you're in a bind, I could always ask.
Plan for 2017:
END-SURE 25k...done! 2:30:23
Spruce Woods Ultra volunteering...done!
Kettle Moraine 100
Western States 100 crewing
Falcon Fatass 50k
Superior 100

I *may* be able to help, depending on what work is like closer to the date. If no one else steps up let me know and I will see what I can do...
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Well the road trip is almost as much fun as sitting in the woods for 24 hours :-)
