Timex Rocks!
Timex Rocks!
I got myself a nice little, sleek Timex Ironman watch a little over two years ago, but last summer the watch strap began cracking. So I sent it off to Timex to get a replacement strap the middle of May.
A couple days ago my "repaired" watch showed up. It looks like they replaced it with a practically brand new watch. In the end I have a new watch for $18 instead of another $60 that I would have had to pay in store. Very nice!

Cool, I have a crack in one of my Timex bands, what address did you send it too?

I would like to know too! I have one that I have had for a long time but the strap is broken. It isn't one that can be replaced at a watch repair.
On another nice note, I sent my HRM to Polar for a new strap and they polished it up so it looked like new.
Thanks Gear Boy!

They did the same for me. It think it worked out to $19.20 plus $2.00 to send the watch to them with a small bubble envelope. I had to cut the strap off to fit the envelope through their little plastic slot otherwise it would have cost another $8.00 to mail. I think they gave me a new watch.
I don't have the address anymore. I just called the Timex 1-800 number and got the address from them. Maybe Gearboy still has it. I did give the address to Lonerunner so maybe she'll chime in here.

That's awesome! I love my Timex Ironman too.

It's funny because as I read your post it reminded me of my post a while back....
