Actually, my opposition is more towards the idea of it being gathered at the bottom (very UN-flattering on me) than the fact that there's a ruffle.

I don't like gathered stuff either...so I don't cinch this top. I'm short waisted so I'm always trying to make my torso look longer..

I like the idea of going for a run looking like a figure skater. More glitter, more flesh-coloured inserts, little coloured booties that go over your running shoes. That would rock.

Well then you and Doonst should buy that top.

I looked at this tank in Lululemon earlier this afternoon, and it doesn't look so much like a ruffle in real life. It's got a drawstring with a tiny little clip to hold it, so I think if you don't want to draw it in, you definitely don't have to. I didn't try it on though.

I am in love with a pair of shorts there- they say something about track- maybe they're "leader of the track"- don't know. They're HOT PINK! :D

ETA- they ARE leader of the track- I just looked on the website. The pink ones aren't on the website though... maybe I should buy them if I see them this weekend!

Saw someone running in the speed skirt today. It looks super cute.

QC try the speed short. Super light and comfy.

How do I get in on the gear packages? Jo-Jo send some of that my way!

I love the speed shorts- I have 2 pairs. The only thing is they're VERY short on me as I have long legs, so I am sometimes a bit self-conscious in them. They're the comfiest shorts I own, though, for sure.

I didn't go today. I was too scared :shifty:

That tank looks like the one I got last year (can't remember the name) but it has a drawstring with a bit of a peplum of sorts below it. I love it as it's longer so I can cinch it in if I want or leave it.

I'm still all over this one though, and the other one I want to try on is "over the top" and then there are the Leader of the Track" pants (for work of course!)

I walked into the store and one of the girls was wearing them in the hot poink plaid print. I asked her to direct me to them. I think these shorts just may end the run skirt phase for me.

I just bought the pink plaid too - they are awesome!!

There is an option to cinch the Sunrise tank which creates the ruffle-type detail, it's not necessarily a part of the tank as is. I am also in love with the Leader of the Track jacket.

The speed shorts look way too short for me. But I am willing to try anything on.

That tank Holly posted: stupid empire seams strike again! No way I would fit that.

But you are willing to try it on?

How about Tuesday?

I said I am willing to try anything on! I still doubt it would work...

Tuesday works for me :)

well well well!

my one pair of full-length, lightweight running tights split on the inseam tonight. I guess that means I *need* a new pair of tights or pants.

I like the look of the Leader of the Track pants but has anyone actually tried running in them? How are they?

Guess I need to go shopping. ;)

I tried the leader of the track shorts yesterday, and YES the pink ones were on sale!! However, they are not cute on me. :( There is a little flappy bit on the bum that makes it look like I have a fat bum, and I don't have a fat bum. Ah well... I forgot to try on the tank! If someone does, let me know!
