Yep, I have shin splints. Thanks internets!

Interesting tool, but it could go a step farther by stating what to do about the pain/issue. Ice? Rest? See a dr?

I'm not whining, remember!

Been to your RMT lately? Foam Roller ?? Stretching ?? Consider wearing your compression sleeves during and after your runs ... Does it feel better after you warm-up?

Yes to all of the above, except massage, for which I am due.

Anyway, about the symptom checker....I think it would have been more useful instead of ending with "you've got shin splits" to also include a box that says "now here's what to do about it"

I have Haglunds Syndrome (achilles tendonitis + bursitis), I always wanted a syndrome :(, thankfully it has almost cleared up. I agree this sight would be much better of it addressed what to do about the symptoms.

Yeah, the info is there, but it should be linked to your 'diagnosis.'

why does it hurt when I pee?
I can't handle the truth!
next up:

This broken wing will fly again
One fine day
This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day
