Tracking IMC racers today

Postby La » Sun Aug 30, 2009 6:46 am

It doesn't look like there's a live video feed for IMC  :x (unless I just haven't found it). There is one for Louisville, though.

Athlete tracker is here: http://ironman.com/events/ironman/canada?show=tracker

You can get text updates and check on people as they pass check points via the IMC web site. There is a link for video feed that says "watch every finish" but it doesn't seem to be working for some odd reason........ Maybe the fact that 20 000 people are trying to log on and watch is causing the system to crash.

The camera might not be set up yet...

Are the text updates of any use if you're already at a computer and can log into the tracking site?

Text is only useful if you can't access a computer

Can someone post the updates for our racers? I will be in and out all day so I won't be able to follow very closely. :(

Eljeffe is out of the swim in 1:08!

Nothing on the others just yet and I don't know Team North's real names!!

My friend Tereza was the first woman out of the swim.

Team North:
Eric LaRochelle

I think Helene is going by her maiden name now: Helene Girard? (her professional artist name is Helene Croft)

Way to go Jeff!

Nicely done Tereza!!

7 minutes ahead of Jeff. This could be fun, watching them compete.

He is a strong swimmer, I worked with him at LL for a few years, I was chasing his run PBs for a couple years, strong runner too, if he holds it together he should do very well. Funny guy, his profession on his profile is "Stuntman" , he is a finance guy.
