Ironman Maryland Postponed (hurricane)

Yikes... tricky business, they're trying to reschedule, but I can't imagine what a pain it would be to un-taper, book new hotels, flights, etc for a new date.

Coastal flooding in the Carolinas was devastating. Not sure what it's like in Maryland right now. Tough decision for them.

Just saw this :
"IRONMAN Maryland will take place on Saturday, October 17. We will offer athlete check-in hours on both Thursday and Friday of event week with extended hours on Friday, October 16 for both athlete and bike check-in. Official communication will be sent via e-mail, posted here on Facebook and also added to the event website in the next 24 hours. Communication will include options available for those who cannot participate in the event on October 17"

So guess it's a go!
