You should volunteer for races as the 1:42 bunny! Seriously though, I don't think you should view this as a plateau... Maybe if this was your big A race, or if you were focusing on half marathon running rather than marathon running, but this just means your "not perfect" time is now what used to be your A race time. That ain't plateauing.

With those windy freezing weather conditions, your average time is actually faster. You just can't see the improvement yet, but - You're gonna rock ATB!!!

Nice job Mr. Consistency! The way I see it, if your first race of the season is on par with your last race of the previous season, then you're rockin'!

And nice to see you once again.

Personally - my half time slowed down when I trained for a marathon....so, plateauing would have been great! :)

Good to see you yesterday, doonst!
You have a faster half time in you, but winter is not the best time to achieve it. We'll talk about this in late-November again, shall we?
Good run!

I guess I should be happy with that all things considered, but I dread the "plateau" effect, when it gets harder to improve.

Sheldon-you just described my biggest running fear! That aside, you ran a solid race and you should be proud.

See you at ATB!
Lightning :)

We're going to try this new thing called jogging. Or maybe it's yogging-with a silent "j". Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

Good work, Even Steven! As others have said, you're no doubt adjusting to marathon goals and training. Looking forward to seeing you cross the finish line at NCM! (But first, ATB... )

Great race Sheldon. First half of the year and another great time. I don't see a plateau, it's downhill from here :D

That's a great timing considering your slow training session

Postby AlfiefromPickering » Tue Mar 13, 2007 6:51 pm

I wish I could that fast during this time of the year, I had to settle for 1 hour and 48" at the Chilly Half.

Remarkable effort. Congratulations!!!
