Montreal Ink Weekend

Postby Strider » Mon Feb 02, 2009 7:37 am

So the Strider's and the TriTheWorld's headed to Montreal this past weekend for a little Post Race Ink and Birthday Celebration. We had a great time and if anyone is planning on any Ink work, I would highly recommend Adrenaline Tattoo in Montreal.

I'll only post my work, I'll let the others post theirs. My plan was something to celebrate Disney, and I had decided that if I broke 5:30 for the total time I would get the time added to the design.

So this was the image that I had sent the Artist

http://thebohns.zenfolio.com/img/v4/p151084874.bmp

I was on the fence whether I would add colour too it or leave it as an outline. Once we arrived at Adrenaline and I started talking to my artist Andy, there was no question about it. He had been looking forward to this for a month and knew exactly what he wanted to do, so I gave he complete control and he didn't disappoint.

Work in progress.

The colours and detail he added just blew me away. It did end up larger that I had planned, but it needed to be for all the details to show up.

Finally Great Dinner with Great Friends

Hi Kathy,

Sorry, I meant to reply a hundred times and something always happened. My snoopy and woodstock tat is on my right shoulder blade - it shows quite nicely when wearing a running top. I love it. It will be 2 weeks on Saturday so we can hot tub and sauna again.... yeah!

Cheers,
Mrs. Strider :)
