Fantastic work Jes! A lot of hard work, and it paid off. I say go for 3:55 next time (or 3:56, whatever 5:30 km's works out to). I bet you'll definitely break 4. Are you doing a fall race? I am in awe of how you a) have taken an hour off your time, and b) lost 15 pounds! I definitely would NOT have said you had 15 pounds to lose!! (I am eating ice cream as I type this, lol). Anyway, good for you. I can't wait to see what else you have in store.

Hamilton, yet again :) We'll see how the training progresses, but yeah, I floated the idea of 3:55 past Andy the other day. We'll see.

You do realize that, based on our most recent half and full marathon times, that we are almost dead on even .... Hamilton will be my first marathon in 18 months, and you may being the one dragging me to a sub 4 marathon in November ... :shifty: :P

you have improved 1:08 from six marathons, thats impressive. Congrats on the PR , you will very likely break the 4 hour mark in your next marathon.

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!
