Congratulations Sylvie, not just for running the Boston Marathon in such difficult conditions, but for your whole journey. I hope you are really proud of your achievements and I am looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you, not only this year, but in the future as well.

"Kleenex fest" for sure! Sylvie, your journey to Boston is an inspiring story and I am so glad you put all that background into your race report. What an awesome way to celebrate turning 50, you will look back and treasure the memories of that day for the rest of your life, I'm sure. Like others have said, you will crush 50 K and then 50 miles. Can't wait to read those reports too

Wow, that is simply amazing. YOu had to overcome so much to get to Boston. And you did in a relatively short timeframe. Congratulations! You are an inspiration for sure.

I can't imagine a more fitting way for a runner to spend her 50th birthday! What an incredible story. I hope you share it with iRun magazine or the RR magazine, because it would be such an inspiration to so many more runners.
