Not signed up yet, but think I will soon. I think I'll do the half and hopefully the full in Toronto at the beginning of the month.

In their e-mail blast they said the races are 50% full, so I figured I'd sign up now, rather than wait too long and then have to try to buy an entry off someone later.

In for the 4 hour RW Pace Bunny gig. 12th straight Ottawa marathon, 14 in total. Awesome weekend of running, no matter which event. This year I am raising money for Camp Misquah through the Scotiabank Charity Challenge .http://www.runottawa.ca/races-and-event ... charities/

Rueben is 2 hrs C and Alexis is 2 hours RW. Alexis was the Golden Ear pacer last year (best half pacer). Not sure what I can say about the quality of the 4 hour pacer, other than I think I feel more like a 3:59.59 pacer.

Re: Ottawa Race Weekend 2016 - who's in?
Where I work (Beyond 21) is one of the charities so I'm in for the half. If anyone wants to run for our charity let me know. We are just asking people to fundraise $50-$100 minimum so not a lot of money. Just trying to raise some extra money for our charity.
Beyond 21 is a program for developmentally challenged adults, 21 years of age and older. We have no gov't funding so have to fundraise all our money. Since a half marathon is just past 21 KM (or just beyond 21) we registered as a charity to see how many people we can get to run the half marathon (or run beyond 21KM) for Beyond 21! You can run any distance though. www.beyond21.org if you want to learn more about what we do.
So looks like I'm in for 2016 ...
then the Moon River Run night run in July
and hopefully finally get to New York in November!

Another great charity. The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is great for the smaller, local charities and those who don't have foundations or fundraising arms. Lot of work to put on fundraising events or races and this allows us/them to get involved in a race that has 45,000 potential fundraisers. Giving locally never hurts.
