Re: Runners Knee Pain ( PFPS)
This is a pretty good video about runners knee. There is also part 2, but I can’t seem to link to it, only part 1.

Re: what do you guys think about...
I was thinking about this earlier today. Only 7 people replied to this. Some people who come to rm regularly didn't reply. I guess that is an answer of sorts. I came along after the great Wolf Island meetup which JoJo organized. I went to meetups in 3 cities, Ottawa twice. Fun times. Because of thi...

Re: what do you guys think about...
RM has been a part of my life for 10 years. I would love for it to become more active again, but having said that, I don’t know much, if anything, about social media and how to accomplish that. I think it would be good to link it all up if it would help direct traffic here. I’m a member of a local r...

Re: Runners Knee Pain ( PFPS)
Sorry to hear about your knee injury. I’ve have found these exercises to be very helpful when I have minor flare-ups. The key to strong knees is having a strong core (hips, quads, glutes, hams). https://runnersconnect.net/the-top-5-hip-strengthening-exercises-for-runners-to-prevent-injury-and-improv...

As I told you in person, I’m so happy, so proud of you. You have battled long and hard and it certainly paid off.
If you had texted I would have told you to “suck it up, Princess”.
Well done, my friend!

Late to the party, but my daughter has made cauliflower Alfredo sauce. I just googled and a few recipes came up. I don't know which one she used, but it was good.

Re: Winter... To run or not to run?
Bad footing or very high wind chill values (-30 of more) will keep me in. I will embrace the treadmill on those days instead of skipping a run. Like was said above, layers are the way to go, start off cooler and you will soon warm up and wish you had one less layer on.
Best wishes on winter running.

Re: Do you run in the rain?
I agree with Spirit. It depends on my mood or if I’m meeting people. Also, I don’t like starting in a heavy rain, but if it starts raining while I’m running then I’ll just keep running.
