It arrived Tues morning. :D Really good service, just wanted to let others knows if you're in the market. Funny part, my kids ...

Re: yoga for runners

I tried one of the podcasts tonight, one of the hip opening ones (because my hips are where I generally have the most issues!). It felt really good, and the stretch was great. I'm such a newbie though, had a hard time balancing (flexibility isn't an issue for me... balance is!). Going to try ...

Ironboy...what is your current 5k time? It's like anything else in life, the more you put in, the more your output. I am sure Michael Phelps, Mutai ( Boston winner ), Hussein Bolt will all agree

Running Book

I just popped into Chapter - Indigo......they have a sale going on right now on books, and during my rummage around, I came across a book called "Running" that has training, diets and more in it, reduced to $5.

Just thought I'll share that

Someone said in another thread that a sub 1hr half won't happen for a long time, well Geb came close and it's only a matter of time.

Re: Bushtukah Club Night - Sunday, April 17th

That's the size suggested to me...... I am the newbie of the group so I welcome all advice. The trip is 10 days with 5 days bping from rim to rim. We will be self reliant team of 6 or 7. May I suggest a smaller size pack, supplemented with a "day pack" for the front? You might not think t...

Convince me to get a Garmin

I have been running for a while now without one, but most runners seem to have one......for those that run with one, please convince me to get, and how would I benefit from it? I don't want anything complicated with stuff buried in the menu, I just needs a simple one with quick access to view distan...

Re: Bushtukah Club Night - Sunday, April 17th

It was busy so I was glad I had selected my items on Saturday. I picked up some gear for my Grand Canyon trip. Two pairs of backpacking boots to test bout, a 65l backpack and a sleeping pad. I was happy to get the discount on Bushtukha's lower prices. That is a big backpack for GC, are you going to...

Not before someone runs a HM in sub 55 minutes first, which will probably never happen.

They said the same about the 100m sprint a few yrs back, sub 10mins is all very common now. Also most elites don't do halves

Re: Holabirdsports

I was stoked when I came across holabird and runningwarehouse, but got disappointed when I found out that I can't order the Asic or the Nike that I wanted :( Why would the manufacturer get the online retailer to do this to would be customers? I am particular looking for the following 3 shoes: 1. Nik...
