2km run in Fort MacLeod. I ran out to the starting area for tomorrow's race. I even hit a garage sale on the way back to the motel. Nothing interesting!

I ran in a different location, so I really was not expecting to see another moose. It would have been cool if I did. I ran 6km in 29C heat. Almost perfect running weather.

I ran 6kms from the Y. There was a cow moose across the river in Police Point Park. Everyone was trying to get a photo with their iPhone but I think she was too far away for a good photo.

I did an easy 6km in my trail shoes.

4km in my Salomon's. I have just hit 500kms on them. There is still a lot of tread left on them, so I think I can get a few more kms out of them. I bicycled over to the red shale trail. I put on my spikes and went for a 5km run. Two days in a row, now, I have seen different runners. I thought I was the only oddball that runs in Redcliff.

4km done. It was 18C ideal weather for running. I keep expecting to see my first Rattlesnake of the year! I seen a 1 1/2 Metre bull snake on Saturday, he was not too happy to see me.

10km Road Race. It was a 11.00am start. It was damn hot. The course was really hilly and no shade. I thought I would be under 1 hour but no luck. The good thing there was only 2 in my age category ( 60-69), so I got second.

Out in Redcliff by the greenhouses, some of the streets are still gravel. Are you running the Pump it up Run this weekend?
