I'm not sure why I do what I do, but I get something out of it. But I fail alot too. And second guess my quitting decisions.

My tapering isn't going so well: another 14 miles of low impact done on Seabrook trails. Then, my post run lunch was an experimental for next week's race. I used a green wrap and put refried beans and guacamole in it. It was delicious. I think I'll make several of those for my 48 hour race next week...

Super Tempo Saturday

I amazed myself again. Even though yesterday was a somewhat difficult 23 miles; I jumped out of the box and ran fast for 2h14 minutes today, at 11 min/mile pace. Well, 11 min/mile is fast for me.

haha, Houston is having an ice storm. I'm at home today, since the bridges are frozen.

walked up a 15% treadmill hill with 10# of weight on my back. Surprising how this get the breathing and sweating going.

I won't lie to you. I've wanted one of these buckles since 2014. I entered the race that year, but did not finish the 100 miles. I only got 45 miles; and my knee wouldn't work after that.
