Had my butt handed to me at the holiday spin and stairs class this morning. You had to bike hard for 8 mins, run around the track while doing four sets of four flights of stairs at each of the three stairwells ( so 12 sets of the four flights of stairs) and repeat 3 times. I have a doctors appt and will then head to the gym for a run on the TM. It is warm out, however everything is shear ice. I feel like doing some speed intervals today as well :)

Cold and blustery day on this end! Did my first speed work session yesterday in a long time and legs feeling surprisingly good this morning. Heading to the gym after work today for some weights & core before 75 mins of spin. Looking forward to it.

Did a bootcamp style class for an hour at lunch, really enjoyed it and sweated my butt off. I think my abs are going to be sore tomorrow :)

Heading home shortly to take the pups for their walk. Then off to the gym for my usual Monday routine. 45 mins of weights/core followed by 75 mins of spin :) Looking forward to it, today has been a frustrating work day!!

It's snowing pretty heavily again. I had planned on running outside during lunch but I think I am going to use my one free pass at World Health and take it indoors. Holy Christmas it is cold out there today! -31C with WC at the moment and we are expecting more snow. I do not mind running in the cold, but anything over -25C and I stay inside. Therefore will be hitting the gym this evening for a short run followed by an hour weights/cardio class.

By noon they are anticipating another snowfall with -27C windchill. We got another 15cm yesterday and most sidewalks are not shoveled yet. Tonight they are saying -33C windchill. Brr, it is cold over here! -15C with -23C windchill this morning. Luckily tonight is my registered spin so I will be indoors with shorts on :) Tomorrow is supposed to be just a cold so will have to suck it up and get my first real winter run done.
