Welcome stampie

Postby turd ferguson » Wed Mar 16, 2011 11:25 am

One of my oldest friends in the world is taking up running and has joined RM. He just finished his first 5k and is signed up for the sun run.

I'll let him introduce himself (hopefully today).

And unlike the time bruyere's imaginary friend signed up, I promise this guy is real.

As long as he doesn't take run fashion advice from you, all is well.

I feel sad for Mike :(

It's tough being a lawyer...it's hard for them to have real friends...but seeing him resort to making up imaginary friends is kind of heartbreaking.......

Hey, dude! You know, I read through this thread, but I missed this last line of yours. And I saw drghfx's shot at me, and thought "HMPH!" and then I was logging in TO DEFEND YOU... to say that you'd mentioned this friend to me... that I'd seen his posts on FB (at least, I thought it was him)... that he exists.

But now....now, you... you... LAWYER... You're on your own buddy!!

For the record, snuffalupagus existed. And she still exists. She's on my FB. I just haven't seen her in a long time 'cuz I'm on the other side of the country!

Next time, I'm gonna let you keep hunting for your wallet.

For the record, yes I do exist! Thought I did think long & hard of holding off & posting. Nothing better then making Turd Ferguson (aka Mike) look nuts :D , but since marymac has now vouched for my existence, I only feel obligated to respond.

Darth Tater, well done! I've used stampie for other userid's and you are one of only a few that has caught the reference to the Simpsons. Bravo!
PB’s (official race results)
5K – 26:20; 8K – 41:28; 10K – 52:13; 15K - 1:22:43; 21.1K – 1:54:16; 30K – 2:51:34; 42.2K – 4:24:14

What is up for 2018
Feb 11th - First Half Vancouver
TBA
Planning & in my sights
Jun 9th - Puddle Jumper Classic
