Here's a fun term I learned tonight:

fartlek
Swedish for "speed play;" variable pace running; a mixture of slow running, running at a moderate pace and short, fast bursts. Fartlek training is a "creative way" to increase speed and endurance.

GREAT find EasternTrish!!!

LOL I don't mind asking questions, but I also don't like to just sit around waiting for someone else to find/give me the answers. Something that was instilled in me by my mom, who could never give me an answer, but would send me searching through dictionaries and encolclopedias all through my childhood! (well before the "google-it" era)

My family was the same way. As kids we learned to stop asking so many questions because the response would always be "let's go look that up in the encyclopedia". Great idea, but not so much fun for kids!
