featured members

I'm planning to do a weekly "featured member" on the main site. I'll pull the stories from the member profiles section of the forum.

Two things:
1) if you have posted your profile but do NOT want to be a featured member, let me know
2) first person to send me a pic gets to be the first person featured. I'd rather have pics for most of them, but of course I understand if you don't have one or don't want to post it. Just let me know.

Maybe someone can get a "NOT AWFUL" picture of me at MBTS because it seems I don't have any that don't suck!
Rather hard on myself...I know :shock: lol

Now? Notsomuch.

I'll bring my good camera to the dinner Dani, and take some really nice photo's of everyone. Once they're developed I'll scan em, and send them. My digital camera is a POS, and takes grainy pics.

Hey, just had an idea. you could do the featured member like a hockey card.

Card Front:

A photo and name along the bottom and "Triathelete" or "Marathoner" or 10K racer" etc... a small bib in the corner with your number from your favorite race (or if you own your chip).

Card Back:

'05 Season
Races:
Times:
Goal(s):

or whatever makes sense

Just an idea, I liked collecting Hockey and Baseball cards as a kid

Ooooo, I like that idea! I've always wanted my own "hockey card" (except I don't play hockey, except for ball hockey and really badly at that).

hmmm.... i might, actually. Should check. If not, I know people who do. :P You going to that thing at Bethel this weekend? They tried to get me to go just for one day but that would mean giving up my whole day...

I am going out there for Saturday (Bethel, that is) I think.... I guess I have to put out the APB saying no one is to give out pics of me :D .. .. I am incognito 8) 8)
