Club Finances

Postby ultraslacker » Thu Sep 01, 2005 7:45 pm

There is a new page which details the RM finances. See About --> Finances in the navigation bar above. This does not yet indicate my out-of-pocket expenses, but it will as I reimburse myself for parts of that.

Let me know if you have any questions or notice any typos. :)

Don't you have 2 jobs? Where do you find the time?

Amazing!

this didn't actually take that long. I just had to compile it all from the past couple of weeks. Now that it's started it will be easy to maintain.

That's not in there yet because I haven't reimbursed myself for any of it yet. I will be doing that soon.

Umm one of those PayPals fees is mine

How do you prefer to receive money, other than PayPal. Would a check for $5.00 be worthwhile or a pain in the gluteus maximus?

Hi,

I used an Interac e-mail transfer to send my shirt money. If you bank with one of the big banks (BMW, Scotiabank, Royal) you can send it. My bank plan allows a couple of free ones a month. The sender pays the fee otherwise and not the receiver.

don't sweat it. We actually paid very few paypal fees, all things considered, and some people added a couple of bucks here and there. Most sent cheques. I'm not worried about the few dollars that we did pay.

As Colleen mentioned, email bank transfer is a great way to go. The sender may pay a small fee ($1.50 or something like that) and the recipient pays nothing. It's fast and easy.

As for paypal, we only get charged if a person uses a credit card in their paypal account rather than a bank account. I don't know why. So some of the paypal payments came through without a fee.
