March 2014 Training Goals

Postby HCcD » Mon Mar 03, 2014 12:09 pm

This will be my first real build-month of training, in preparation for the K-Town 6 Hour Ultra in June ... if I hit all my training runs on the schedule, even though I have a couple of races on couple of weekends this month, I think I will hit around 300-350K this month ...

This will be my biggest month in quite a while- figure I'll be pretty close to 400km.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Hmm, not many March goals here. Wonder what that means?

As long as it's winter here, I'll keep on with my winter schedule, which is 3-4 runs a week, with one longer run, all at WARP speed. No hills nor speed work until the ice goes away!

I'm dreaming of my trails in the woods...

I never actually wrote mine because the end of February got pretty difficult for me, but I seem to be back on track now. I will probably be at about 300k by the end of the month.

Ended up with 419km- not 100% sure, but that might be my biggest month ever.

Done! And winter let up enough towards the end of the month to let me run faster than I ever have. I curse the winter, but it was good for my running this year! :D
