Bosu Ball

Postby ngcaper » Fri Oct 04, 2013 3:02 pm

I picked up a Bosu Ball, I'm hoping it'll help with strength training for the poor shins I'm likely to beat on again.

It has a video, but alot seems core, as does the website. I'm not discrediting core work and need to do more. I'm curious if anyone here has used a Bosu and had success. I've had it maybe 2wks and I'm loving it...but I use it more as a toy inside trampoline than for serious work. If nothing else I do find it fun.

BTW they were on sale at Costco Kanata for $129 with the Ballast Ball. Decent price from all others I've seen.
Beer, the cause of and solution to all of lifes problems.

BoSu can be great for cardio too.

I used to attend a studio that had 20 laid out in circuit, so between the high stepping and some weights, it could become a very high intensity workout.

If watching too much TV, it makes a great chair to hold different positions improving the core.
