Too bad we don't live in the same city, Nancy. I am totally motivated lately and I could drag you along with me.

I would love that! I'm just not very flexible time-wise what with splitting my time between work, home, hospital these days.
I'm thinking weekend, which is probably most suitable for you as well..... what about Sunday afternoon? I think the weather is supposed to be somewhat decent. (I'm speaking totally off the cuff.... I don't even know what that day holds for me right now but I SO appreciate your offer, I don't want to let it go!)

I could do Sunday morning... Or next weekend, because I'll be in Toronto all week, leaving on Sunday afternoon.

Am I the only one not running much these days? I was in Toronto all week for conferences and meetings and I forgot to pack my running bra. Needless to say I didn't run.

But I ran this morning: 4 x 4:1s. It was an awesome run. I had downloaded a few of my favorite Glee songs and I ran to the song Halo/Walking on Sunshine. I felt as high as the girls were in the show when they were singing it. It was great! :D

Looks like you are the only one RUNNING! Good job, C!!!!!!

As for me, first time back to the gym today in a month, to the day. I am gonna be one sore puppy tomorrow, but hell, it was worth it! I'm going back again tomorrow. Will take it easy but I will try to work out the stiffness with a light workout. Hallelujah!

Good job Claudie!

I'm still running as well. My mileage is low, but I am getting out there for three runs a week to go with my 3/4 days of P90X.

I think I'm ready for 5:1s! :D

I ran 4 x 4:1s today again and it went OK. I'm having some ankle pain though. This can't be good!

BOO!

Glad you are progressing. Sorry to hear about the ankle pain. Hopefully it's manageable with ice and rest and it won't keep you down for long. We should run together soon. The weather is holding out just for us too!

Saturday morning, around 10ish? I can't do Sunday morning as I'll be kinda hungover.

The ankle will be fine, it's just my calves that are too tight from all this running i've been doing lately.

3 x 5:1s this morning! It wasn't even that difficult. The cardio was fine, but the lower back hurt.

The funny thing is that the ankle pain goes away when I start to run. Oh well, I'll take what I can get!

Missed your post for the Saturday am run, C. Was at hospital with Mom anyway so it would have been a no go.

Sorry to hear about your tm, Heather. I assume it needs to go due to your impending move?

C, good job on your run Saturday!

it's no longer a thought; it's a yes. I'm worried it's too loud for an apt and there really isn't room for it. Although my sister asked how much I wanted for it so hopefully she's interested and I won't have to deal with the hassle of selling it. Also my neighbour expressed interest in it.

*sigh*

I guess I didn't use it as much as I should have but when I was in the groove I used it a lot. It was just so much easier to get up; throw some running clothes on and go. Now I'll have to join a gym and there is only one in the area that opens early enough.

I ran after work today! I did!

We had Bailey's today for our Christmas party and let me tell you: this isn't good fuel prior to a run. It was so hard: I couldn't run more than 2 minutes at a time, so that's what I did. 3.3km done in 30 minutes. Oh well! I ran after work!! It's all that matters.

I'm reading your post as I contemplate pouring another glass of wine...... I still haven't run but I walked all day.

You ran and I bet you ran those intervals faster than usual!!

We definitely need to get together for a run.... Nancy too..... Karen, if she wants to come done to O-town.
