Try this link and see if it works: https://www.facebook.com/kris1351/video ... 363294719/
Or just go to YouTube and look for videos of IMTX.

Re: CinC at IM Texas today (Saturday)
Hey thanks guys for following! I saw this thread briefly after the race and then it's been crazy since being back with work and everything.
So this was an interesting experience - this race seemed to have had a few hurdles this year between the bike course not being approved until about 2 weeks before the race and it being called 'turnapalooza' with the 80 turns over 95 miles (so, it was short by 27k), then the change in the swim 2 days before the race resulting in 2 transition zones and well, then the wicked little storm that blew in during the run. But I got it done and can say I'm done with Texas! I had my slowest swims in a race yet for reasons unknown (besides well, I was just slow and my sighting was more off than I thought it was). I felt pretty good on the bike and was very aware who was around me and extra cautious, which has been the case ever since the crash in 2012 and I actually quite liked the bike course. The turns were not nearly as bad as they sounded like they would be. And the run was the highlight for me in all honesty - even with the storm. I was never stopped when it blew in - I just continued moving forward, getting pelted with hail, thinking it was nuts and was regretting that I hadn't tossed an extra shirt in my special needs but I wasn't expecting to get cold. But with the temperature drop due to the storm, I felt much better and was running stronger as the run went on.
That marked my 10th ironman distance finish - all of the races have been memorable and this was no exception. Glad I was able to provide some entertainment on an otherwise quiet Saturday. Take care.

Re: CinC at IM Texas today (Saturday)
Dave's race was ok - he had a rough run, but such is Ironman!
And no Kona qualifier by any means - I suspect you're thinking of the Legacy program, but that is after completing 12 ironman branded races - I'm actually at 9 of those since one of my finishes was Challenge Penticton. Competing in Kona isn't on my radar by any means. I get chewed up enough at these other races - i don't want to be beaten up by the winds, heat and competitiveness that is Kona!
