Don't think it's a good idea to drive to Ottawa on 3 hours sleep.
Good luck to all those racing today.

14 km done on the treadmill followed by 20 min on the spinning bike. Longest run since Army run. No issues with the hip flexors.

Glad you had a great time on the bike. Gave me a chance to practice my photography. Also gave me a chance to do some running chasing you on the course.

Re: Half-marathoner dies at Montreal marathon
http://www.torontosun.com/2011/09/25/montreal-marathon-runner-dies One half-marathoner died on the course today :( My friend and I saw him on the side of the road at 1.5K to the finish, he was in bad shape getting oxygen and very 'white'. So sad. Lots of people needing help on the side of the road ...

Went to cheer the Montreal Oasis races. Missed everyone. Didn't see Framboisine, Dr. S; nor Lady VO2. Which means, no photos. Sorry..

My dilemma now is: do I run Army Run or save myself for one of those Rock n Roll bling medals?

So it was you who spread it to me before Army.
Rest day also. Woke up with sore calves and slight ITB discomfort. See what happens when Andy starts calling you a 'Princess' on the course.

Congrats on the huge PB Sandra. I'm glad I got to experienced some of Andy's 'motivation' on the course. Unlike you, I didn't listen to Andy and took a break. Great meeting you at the M&G.

Great job today Andy and thanks again for picking up our race kits. Wished I could have finished the last 2 km with you and Sandra but the calves couldn't take any more.

A somewhat fast 5 with you yesterday followed by a shortened 17.5 km today. Humidity really killed me. Got home 5 mins. before the skies opened up here. How about a slow 5 tomorrow?

Did just over 15 km. The first 7 km was with SirCrash. The predicted rain here did not come. Instead, hot and humid second half run. After hydration and snack at Tim's, I am 3 pounds lighter then when I started.

Went from my A/C house to my A/C car and drove to the A/C gym. 5 hills and 6.8 steady run done. Didn't feel the heat wave.
