Toronto Santa Speedo Run day - 3+ kms through the heart of Yorkville punctuated by jumping jacks, push ups and bad carol singing.

8 degrees C, no breeze to speak of, and a glass or two afterwards - all good fun.

Just this weekend in the GTA there are 2 running events, the Ride to Conquer Cancer, Toronto Indy (not related but disruptive), the Naked Biked Ride, a Portugese heritage street party on Bloor and goodness knows what else.

How many events are too many ?

Either you need a new/different saddle or it's simply a matter of getting the time on it harden up. Even on my most comfortable saddle, one I've gots 1000's of km on, if I've been off it for a while it still takes a couple of weeks to get used to it. I've been doing a lot more cycling lately, and my sit bones are screaming at me in protest. :roll:

I've tried moving the seat around, different cycling shorts and seats to no avail, any suggestions what I could try next ?

Slightly off topic, but it brings a tear to my eye to see the recent US sting on FIFA officials. Finally, a good use for anti-terrorism legislation. Let's hope that there have been parallel investigations into the other corrupt organizations that are about to ripen. I'd love to see them take a run ...
