Wrap-up Wednesday

Postby ultraslacker » Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:57 am

can you believe that 2010 is already 1/4 over??

Don't forget to post your monthly total over in the training section. :)

I am planning 5 easy miles with the puppy.

I've been up for a while since they are painting the apartment upstairs. Some yoga this morning, and then heading to the track tonight if it's open for public use. If not, 400m repeats elsewhere.

Was wondering how to dress this morning at 5C, wind and threat of rain. Tights were in the washing machine so shorts it was. A good choice.
7.5k @ 4:47 HR 148, heart rate was good for the pace and I felt good. That's 290k for the month, my highest monthly total ever.

Bunch of horizontal pull-ups to tighten to keep that stomach tight, and then off to yoga this evening.

Just my morning 30 minutes r&r in the massage chair at the Club ... will get in a run and/or some resistance workout later this afternoon .. Running 14.4K and 16K the past couple days, after ATB on Sunday appears to suck the energy out of me in the mornings, for some reason ... :?

Forecast high of 19c for today, so I'll get 10k in at noon and plans for another run after work. Doesn't feel like there are any lingering effects from ATB, hope that doesn't come back to bite me.

Be forewarned....tomorrow is April 1st, plan your April fools day joke on your friends/famly before they get you ! :D

Wednesdays are usually a rest day for me, but I wanted to hit 200 k for the month (for the 1st time!) so I did a fast 5k (22:47) around the block.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Lots of 2's in there. Good stuff!

I'll be testing my foot out tonight, running with the group out in the wilds of Kanata-land.

I didn't run last night, picked up my bike at the LBS and that was enough for me, I was in bed at 8h30. That cold finally hit me, I'm just glad I avoided it for ATB...

Boot camp this morning was strength and hills - evil but good combination!

followed that up with taking my dogs for a quick 2.4k run in 16min. I was chilled from class and the thought of walking wasn't appealing - so we ran - and it was good!
Race Hard. Race Happy.
