Tricky Tuesday

Postby Habs4ever » Tue Dec 09, 2014 9:34 am

I have a very busy day and it will be tricky to fit a run in. I will try my best.

Have a good day all. :D

My plan is to get to the gym as soon as I get home from work for my own spin session. I'm going out for dinner tonight and won't be able to do my regular Tuesday night class. Hopefully, I can work out just as hard on my own!

between monsoons this morning, I took Sammy out for a mini-hike on the trails, about 40 minutes. Even at 8am, it was dark in the forest due to the low clouds, and I took the wrong trail and landed on some dead-ends but we had fun anyway. :)

The tricks were on me today: 4k around the neighbourhood, then the wrist band on my Garmin broke. After that, I had a physio appointment, and after a discussion re: continuing pain and inflammation in my foot, I was instructed to stop running, unless I would like to risk a stress fracture. I would not, so this is probably my last run of 2014.

The good news is that my favourite local running store, Le Coureur, somehow replaced the broken band on my Garmin and for free!

I ran this evening and was grossly overdressed in tights and a long-sleeve shirt. 6k done on a dark and beautiful evening.
